Ok, so as many of you know I was admitted to the hospital at 25 weeks (Oct 27th) for severe preeclampsia. My blood pressure was really high, liver enzymes were too high, platelets too low and it was a struggle to keep it all in check for as long as possible. At first the doc said he would be surprised if i made it to the weekend. Thank you to so many people who were lifting me and the girls up in prayer and sending positive and encouraging words! The doc said i beat the odds and made it to 26 weeks! Every additional hour the girls could spend in the womb the better off they were. Doc scheduled me for a c-section wed. Nov 3rd at noon. He ran labs that morning and kept tabs on the girls to make sure they were safe and that morning ended up bumping me up an hour. When he got in my belly I heard him tell Johnny that all that extra fluid was from my liver and he was glad to go in when he did... that he couldn't have waited till noon.
So without further a-due let me introduce you to my daughters!!! Jaden Kapri Isola 1lb 8oz born at 11:20am, Siena Lisa Isola 1lb 1oz born at 11:22, and Gemma Mia Bella Isola 1lb 3oz born at 11:23 on Nov 3rd 2010. :)

2nd pic - Gemma's first picture, she was fresh from the womb and had her hands over her head... Daddy was calling this pic "Touchdown Gemma". She's getting into the football spirit early!

And below is a video I took of Gemma this morning. She is our little wiggler lol. Taking everything in stride. She's been doing really well!
